Inside a Queen Anne Residence: Warm Modern, Built to Last

When the clients first reached out, they described their home as "beautiful but anonymous." Our brief was to translate their love of European travel and Pacific Northwest light into rooms that felt unmistakably theirs.

The palette starts with plaster walls in a soft, sun warmed white. Against that backdrop, we layered oak millwork, hand glazed tile, and aged brass to give every surface a touch of patina from day one.

Living spaces were planned for two modes of life: quiet weekday mornings and large weekend gatherings. Pieces were chosen for comfort first, then refined through scale, line, and material.

The result is a home that feels considered without ever feeling precious.
